I’m Ellen and I’m the heart behind lettersfromus.

Poetry has always been a special part of my life. Ever since I was little I‘ve written poems in birthday and Christmas cards to make my loved ones laugh and smile.

When I was planning my own wedding, I was looking for a unique way to let our guests know how much they meant to us. I wanted something that would feel personal, thoughtful and filled with love. That’s when the idea for personalised poetry place names was born. Rather than just writing their names on a card, I crafted individual poems for each guest, capturing their personalities, our shared memories and the joy of having them there. The smiles and reactions were priceless and I knew I had created something special.
